Eileen M. Murphy, PT, OCS, MTCOwner/President Email: emurphy@ masportspine.com Eileen, a 1982 graduate of The College of St. Scholastica, Duluth, MN, has over 25 years of clinical experience with an emphasis in orthopedics. Eileen has developed and presented professional and community education programs in the areas of spinal dysfunction, low back pain, and care and treatment of the spine. Board certified in Orthopedics through the APTA and Manual Therapy by the Institute for Graduate Physical Therapy, Eileen has expertise in areas of myofascial release, joint mobilization, muscle energy, and spinal stabilization, amongst others.
David Koehn, MPT, ATC, PES, TPI CGFI-MP3Clinic Manager David is a 2000 graduate of Quinnipiac College earning a Bachelor of Health Science. David continued on to earn a Master of Physical Therapy at Quinnipiac University in 2002 along with becoming board certified as an Athletic Trainer. As Assistant Athletic Trainer at Quinnipiac College, David was responsible for the well-being of over 150 Division 1 athletes. David specializes in the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic/sports related conditions with an emphasis on post-operative rehabilitation and sport specific training for patients of all ages. David is certified by the National Academy Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist. He recently has been recognized by the Titleist Performance Institute as a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Medical Professional. This allows David to enhance the performance of golfers of all ages, injured or healthy, by teaching efficient golf swing body mechanics and movement.
Susie Fligor, MSPTEmail: sfligor@ masportspine.com Susie attained her Bachelors in Health Sciences and Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 2000. She has over 10 years of experience focusing in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation including post-surgical rehabilitation, overuse injuries, fractures, and sprains/strains. Susie has a special interest in women's health issues from female teenage sports injuries to osteoporosis. She is currently expanding her clinical practice to include women's health issues including but not limited to pregnancy related dysfunction, post-partum musculoskeletal conditions, pelvic floor dysfunction, pain syndromes including pelvic pain, and urinary incontinence related to trauma, surgery, pregnancy, and/or aging. Susie is also in the process of becoming CAPP certified in Women's Health through the APTA.
Amanda Smith, MSPTEmail: asmith@ masportspine.com Amanda is a graduate of Springfield College where she received a Bachelor of Science in 2006 and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in May 2007. Amanda's interests are focused on evaluation and treatment of orthopedic/sport conditions and diseases of all ages. She has experience with variety of musculoskeletal disorders including fractures, sprain/strains, overuse injuries, and neurological and post-operative conditions. She has also been involved with ACL prevention programs for female athletes. Internships Amanda has participated in include Boston Medical Center, Prehab Sports Medicine, and Schenectady City Schools. In the community, Amanda is a gymnastics coach and a math tutor. Amanda is an active member of the APTA.
Debra Bangs, DPTEmail: dbangs@ masportspine.com Debbie, a 1990 graduate of Northeastern University, has 18 years of experience in orthopedics. Her emphasis in the clinic has been the spine and she has done training in ergonomics for local employers and in the community. She has additional training in manual therapy including muscle energy, joint mobilization and spinal stabilization training. She is a member of the APTA and is involved in educational planning and is an Assembly Rep for the Central District. Debbie will complete the transitional doctorate program at the MGH Institute of Health Professionals in the spring of 2009.
Meghan O'Rourke, DPTE-mail: morourke@ masportspine.com Meghan is a 2009 graduate of Northeastern University where she received a Bachelor of Rehabilitation Science in 2008 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2009. Meghan's interests are primarily in musculoskeletal and orthopedic dysfunction, including neurological, post-surgical, and spinal dysfunction/instability conditions. Meghan works with several patients in the community post-stroke, helping to return them to their maximum function through gait training, strengthening, and general conditioning. Meghan has participated in a variety of internships as part of her clinical education experience, including two outpatient rotations at Olympic Physical Therapy and Foot Orthotics and HealthSouth Bakersfield Rehabilitation Hospital, and an inpatient rotation at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Tricia Hilts, PTTricia is a 1985 graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She also earned her Masters of Health Care Administration from Framingham State College in 2003. Tricia has 24 years of experience working with orthopedic and sports related injuries as well as working within the local community for the Visiting Nurses Association. She has taken a multitude of courses with an emphasis on manual therapy including myofascial release, joint mobilization of the spine and extremities, and core strengthening and stabilization techniques.
Lloyd Beckett, DPT, CSCSEmail: lbeckett@ masportspine.com Lloyd is a graduate of Northeastern University where he received a Bachelor of Rehabilitation Science in 2009 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2010. He is also certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Lloyd's interests are primarily in the evaluation and rehabilitation of orthopedic and sports related conditions in patients of all ages and abilities. As a student, Lloyd interned with the training staffs of the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers, where he gained experience in the prevention and treatment of high-level athletes. Other student experience includes internships with Pro Sports Therapy in Waltham and an inpatient affiliation at Falmouth Hospital. Lloyd is currently attending Bridgewater State University to pursue a Master of Science in Athletic Training, which he will finish in 2012. |
